Prevent Training
All nurseries and schools are subject to a duty under section 26 of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, in the exercise of their functions, to have “due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”.
This duty is known as the Prevent duty.
This online course gives you an understanding of how to fulfill these duties. It takes around 45 minutes and you can download a certificate at the end.
Make sure to register as a new user and choose
- Education (Schools), then
- Early Years Provider (support staff and other)
When you have completed the course please email a copy of the certiticate to your consultant or info@bretsa.co.uk
