Bretsa Early years are currently recruiting for a qualified, passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader for a nursery based in the Thamesmead area.
Salary Range : £18,000 - £19,500 depending on qualifications and experience
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave and 8 days of Bank Holidays
This is a full time position based on 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
The Candidate must have:
NNEB, CACHE NVQ level 3, or equivalent
A sound understanding of child development and children’s needs.
The ability to plan and implement an early years age/stage appropriate curriculum, taking into account the SEN Code of Practice, safeguarding procedures and equal opportunities’.
Ability to communicate verbally this includes the ability to establish rapport and credibility with external agencies, mothers, fathers and other carers.
Ability to communicate in writing by being able to produce clear, concise and accurate reports and correspondence, e.g. for disciplinaries, business plans, child protection/safeguarding reporting and for recruitment purposes etc.
Ability to communicate in a variety of ways and with people at all levels, and adopt a communication method appropriate for the listener or audience.
Ability to communicate the need for quality and continuous improvement, and influence good practice through example.
The ability to engage with parents/carers in respect of their own needs for advice, education and personal development.
This position requires the individual to be willing to undergo a check with the disclosure and baring service (DBS) (formerly CRB)
